We are in network for clients with Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA PPO. We also accept private pay. Clients using insurance are responsible for their copayments and fees which are not covered by insurance. If your insurance plan provides out of network benefits we can provide an itemized bill which may be submitted by the client, to their insurance for reimbursement. To learn more about out of network benefits, contact your insurance provider.

At this time we are pleased to offer both in person and virtual appointments. We encourage clients who are being seen for the first time to be seen in person if they are able. Clients who are on controlled substances such as stimulant medications are required to be seen in person periodically in order to maintain compliance with DEA regulations and clinical care guidelines.

For virtual appointments we recommend finding a quiet, private location with reliable internet connection. You will be answering many personal questions during your visit and it is important that you are somewhere that you can speak freely with your provider as they get to know you. It may be helpful to review your past medical records, gather relevant family history and have questions in mind for your provider. In addition, we will want to hear about your goals and expectations for treatment.
For in person visits we ask that you please arrive promptly at your scheduled appointment time. Please bring any relevant documentation such as photo ID, insurance cards, and documentation pertaining to medical history if available . -
Most clients can expect to meet with their provider at least monthly. When there are new concerns, medication changes, side effects, or adjustments taking place, you may meet with your provider more frequently. Alternatively, clients who have been stable for some time may no longer need monthly follow up. You will discuss plans for follow up with your provider during each visit.

While we strongly encourage clients to engage in ongoing psychotherapy, we do not require all clients to be in therapy. During your treatment you may be referred to therapy as part of your treatment plan. If therapy is recommended, it is expected that clients will follow through on such recommendations with the support and assistance of their provider. Medication and therapy together are the gold standard in psychiatric outpatient treatment.
