A breath of fresh air in psychiatric treatment and medication management
A uniquely collaborative practice that honors the individuality of our clients and empowers them in the pursuit of their treatment goals
Our Services
We offer personalized psychiatric care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Our services are designed to support mental wellness through comprehensive evaluation, supportive therapy, and medication management.
15 Minute Consult
Free
A brief, introductory consultation to discuss your mental health needs and determine the best path forward. This session allows us to assess how we can support you in your treatment journey.
Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation
$300
During this evaluation, your provider will review your symptoms, experiences, and how they affect your daily life to develop a personalized treatment plan.
Medication may be recommended but is not always prescribed at this visit. By the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of the provider’s recommendations and next steps.
Follow Up Assessment
$175-$225
Clients can expect to follow up with their provider on at least a monthly basis initially, though newer clients, clients with severe symptoms, clients on new medications, and others, will see their provider more frequently.
Meet the Team
Athena P. Davos, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Athena is an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner in the assessment and treatment of adults 18 years and older, and has worked with multiple local colleges and universities, as well as the Boston VA Healthcare system and McLean Hospital. Most recently she was on staff at Wellesley College's Stone Center Counseling Services, where she worked with undergraduate students. She is the owner and lead psychiatric provider at Aria Psychiatric.
She feels strongly that a genuine connection with clients is the first step in any successful treatment plan. She brings compassion, empathy, expertise in psychopharmacology and her authentic self into her work with clients. She tries to empower her clients through education so that treatment becomes a collaborative effort.

Carrie Glaser, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Carrie is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 21 years of diverse nursing experience. She holds a BSN and MSN degree from Simmons University and her background includes critical care, hospice care, clinical research, and nursing education, each shaping the way she approaches patient care — with compassion, insight, and clinical expertise.
Through these experiences, she discovered a deep desire to form stronger, more meaningful connections with patients—particularly in times of emotional distress. This led her to pursue psychiatric-mental health practice, where she could offer hope and healing to those struggling with hopelessness. She is especially passionate about working with individuals with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. Her goal is to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported on their path to wellness.
Some clients may recognize Carrie as she completed her final practicum at Aria Psychiatric under Athena’s supervision. We are pleased to have her joining our team. She will begin seeing clients in June ‘25.

At this time we are pleased to offer both in person and virtual appointments. We encourage clients who are being seen for the first time to be seen in person if they are able. Clients who are on controlled substances such as stimulant medications are required to be seen in person periodically in order to maintain compliance with DEA regulations and clinical care guidelines.
-
For virtual appointments we recommend finding a quiet, private location with reliable internet connection. You will be answering many personal questions during your visit and it is important that you are somewhere that you can speak freely with your provider as they get to know you. It may be helpful to review your past medical records, gather relevant family history and have questions in mind for your provider. In addition, we will want to hear about your goals and expectations for treatment.
For in person visits we ask that you please arrive promptly at your scheduled appointment time. Please bring any relevant documentation such as photo ID, insurance cards, and documentation pertaining to medical history if available . -
Most clients can expect to meet with their provider at least monthly. When there are new concerns, medication changes, side effects, or adjustments taking place, you may meet with your provider more frequently. Alternatively, clients who have been stable for some time may no longer need monthly follow up. You will discuss plans for follow up with your provider during each visit.
-
While we strongly encourage clients to engage in ongoing psychotherapy, we do not require all clients to be in therapy. During your treatment you may be referred to therapy as part of your treatment plan. If therapy is recommended, it is expected that clients will follow through on such recommendations with the support and assistance of their provider. Medication and therapy together are the gold standard in psychiatric outpatient treatment.
-
All visits will be conducted through doxy.me - a virtual video conferencing platform for healthcare providers and their clients. Once you enter the waiting room, your provider will be notified. The appointment will begin promptly at the scheduled time.
